Anatomy & Physiology
The course content includes a survey of anatomy, physiology and nutrition topics. Anatomy is the study of the structures of the human body and physiology is the study of the function of the human body. In the nutrition segment, we identify food nutrients, their sources and what they do. Goals of this course are: to define the major systems of the human body, to provide a useful understanding of how our body functions and to provide a solid foundation for students to make healthy nutrition decisions. This elective course is three trimesters in length and does not count as a lab science credit.
