This course presents the fundamental principles of chemistry in a hands-on laboratory setting. Students will develop the quantitative reasoning skills necessary for the further study in any scientific field. Students will discuss current events in the scientific community. Proper format for laboratory reports will be reinforced. Laboratory experiences are an integral part of the course. Completion of or concurrent enrollment with Algebra 2 is required.
