Algebra 2    

This course covers definitions of functions and relations, simultaneous equations, quadratic equations and inequalities, exponents, radicals and logarithms, and the trigonometry of right triangles. Students are introduced to the use of graphing calculators for all topics. Prerequisite: a solid foundation in algebra and geometry. This course is also offered in an Honors track. Algebra 2 Honors offers a faster-paced version of Algebra 2 with more challenging problems. Prerequisite: a solid foundation in algebra and geometry.

Course Highlights    

In this course students make an open box by cutting the corners out of a single sheet material then they make a table and graph to determine the maximum volume.
