What is research? How do I locate quality sources? How can I best present my ideas? This course will focus on these questions and related research topics. While pursuing a research topic of their choice, students will expand their understanding of what research is and improve their research skills in preparation for college. Additionally, they will learn how to present their work in oral presentations through PowerPoint and other media. This course is intended for 11th and 12th graders who wish to improve their research and presentation skills in anticipation of college. This course is required of 11th graders who wish to pursue a Senior Project.
