The Stoneleigh-Burnham Expressive Arts Camp is designed for girls who have a passion for creating art and using their imaginations. Girls explore two-dimensional and three-dimensional art through a variety of mediums. Creativity is explored in the classroom and outdoors using observation and imagination to create art. Expressive activities include drawing, painting, collage, fabric dyeing, clay sculpting and mask making. In each, girls experiment with color, texture and design and are encouraged to incorporate their personal interests into their work.
Each day is composed of four creative periods with breaks for cooperative play, snack and lunch. The week will culminate in a Student Art Exhibit and Reception that families are invited to attend on the final day of camp at 3:00 p.m.
