Community Dance at Stoneleigh-Burnham
	Established over thirty years ago, the Stoneleigh-Burnham Community Dance program offers quality movement classes in a nurturing environment where children and adolescents can discover confidence and a sense of well-being through the art of dance.  Ann Sorvino, Director Ann holds a B.F.A. from The Julliard School and has performed in the works of Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Jose Limon and Mark Morris. She danced professionally in New York City for nine years before moving to Franklin County. Recently, she has participated in workshops and performed at Jacob's Pillow. Ann has been teaching at Stoneleigh-Burnham for over twenty-five years and is chair of the Performing Arts department. She is currently a member of the dance faculty at Greenfield Community College and artistic director of the Sorvino Dance Project, which has performed in New York City, at the Boston Ballet and at The Academy of Music Theatre in Northampton.    Ann teaches all classes in the Community Dance program.     Click here to download the 2011-2012 brochure.
