Blue Key is an organization which operates out of the Admissions Office. A group of approximately 35 students, chosen for their enthusiasm and involvement with the Stoneleigh-Burnham School community, is appointed in the spring to serve as Blue Key members for the following year. They are responsible for touring prospective families assisting with special events, including Family Weekends, Alumnae Reunion, Opening Weekend, and Admissions Visit Days. The Blue Key students also host overnight guests. Members also escort visitors to class and help with a calling program to congratulate newly accepted students. The Admissions Proctor works closely with the Admissions Office to ensure campus visits and other functions are well orchestrated.
The Stoneleigh-Burnham School Admissions Office has the pleasure of working with 35 student leaders who work as ambassadors for the school as they welcome visitors to campus. Our guides come from ten different states and many different countries, and are involved in all aspects of our academic, athletic, and residential life activities. They are boarding students, day students, riders, dancers, team athletes, artists, singers, musicians, mathematicians and scientists.
