Families are cordially invited to attend Fall Family Weekend on Friday and Saturday, October 16 & 17. Weekend highlights include attending classes with your daughter, a performing arts presentation, a horse show, athletic competitions and meetings with advisors and faculty.

On Tuesday, October 6, Stoneleigh-Burnham celebrated its annual fall tradition of Mountain Day.  Head of School Sally Mixsell canceled classes and word started to spread, with the aid of music being played over the school's PA system, that it was Mountain Day. The tradition of the impromptu canceling of classes and instead taking to the area mountains for a day of scenic fall fun has been a tradition at Stoneleigh-Burnham School for generations. This year, the school community traveled to Skinner State Park where they hiked Mount Holyoke and spent the afternoon playing games and having a picnic lunch atop the mountain.

When six-year senior Bryna Cofrin-Shaw (Northampton) throws her hat into the ring, whether it’s on the soccer field, the theater stage, a poetry contest, or of late the International Independent Schools Public Speaking Competition (IISPSC), her competitors take notice. The Health Center has had flu vaccine available for your daughters since September 21st. All students have been emailed & offered the vaccine. Please check with your daughter to see if she has received her flu shot or encourage her to get to the health center soon if you want  her vaccinated, as we will run out. This vaccine is for the regular seasonal flu , NOT H1N1. We will let you know when that is available. Also please note, the Health Center must have a signed permission slip in order to give the vaccine. We will accept an email to this effect instead.
