Rachel Simmons, a leading expert in girls' psychology and the author of Odd Girl Out and The Curse of the Good Girl, has been working with Ellen Carter to arrange a visit to Stoneleigh-Burnham School. Ms. Simmons is working on a revision of Odd Girl Out and will be including a new chapter on technology. She would like to hold a series of conversations with middle school students as part of her research for the book. We are delighted to say that she will be visiting our school on Thursday, December 9. The letter linked below gives more information about the project. In order to participate in these conversations and help Ms. Simmons with the research for her book, your daughter will need a signed permision form. You may download the form below and return it to the school either by fax or with your daughter. Please return the form by Friday, December 3.
