This course introduces students to the basic techniques of acrylic painting. Color theory and color mixing are stressed. Students work on still life, self-portrait, landscape, other "live" subjects, and abstract art, experimenting with a variety of styles, to develop a working knowledge of color, composition and expressive content. Prerequisite: Drawing I (may be waived with permission of instructor)
