Discussion: John Larson spoke about February Thaw (February 18th). The students are given options to sign up for. He reported that moving day students to residential hallway has been successful as they are interacting with international students and house parents more.

A survey was conducted on international student experience and he was impressed with how our students adapt to their new environment here.

No formal dinner next week.

Kevin Weyl discussed a program for a fundraising opportunity. At no cost to the school, SBS could host an event that focuses on precious metal sales and get 20% of all profits. A concern was raised about opening this event up to the public. It will be discussed again in our April Meeting.;

Lisa Moore discussed renting out the Greenfield Garden Cinema as an auction donation. She indicated she would be willing to do it with another parent.

Equestrian Wall of Fame (February 20th) Parents’ Association will provide coffee and donuts at 8:00am.
Laura Kelleher – 2 boxes of Joe
Shirley Lanphear – Baked good
Margareta Athey – Baked good

Angie Reynolds recorded a video for the Parent 100 Challenge! It’s the act of giving that will make a difference!

Kevin Weyl volunteered to video parent testimonials. He also suggested a parent rock and roll night. He offered his musical talents and mentioned that he could get a band together.

At the close of the meeting, parents adjourned to the development offices to proceed with the Phone-a-thon. We are on the way to 100% parent participation in the Fund for Stoneleigh-Burnham School.
