Many thanks to all parents, grandparents, and friends who attended our Family Weekend last week!  We loved having you here and sharing in the successes that our students have had so far this year. We also appreciated the opportunities for collaboration that face-to-face conversation allows; it felt like great synergy was being created which will only serve to give our students the best experience possible.

If you have any constructive feedback for us regarding the logistics of Family Weekend, we welcome them. Please feel free to email me with any thoughts.  In the meantime, I hope that you had a delightful long weekend with your daughters. Most of them returned with renewed vigor, ready to tackle the next leg to Thanksgiving!

McClure "Mac" Deason    
For those of you who know Jeremy Deason (Athletic Director, 2006-2011), you may be interested to know that he and his wife, Cassie, visited recently to place a plaque under "Mac's Tree". It was planted last year in memory of the Deasons' baby, Mac.  Please stop by to look at Mac's Tree whenever you head to the Barn! This pretty tree flowers a beautiful yellow every July, the month of Mac's birth.
Quebec City Trip    
Still a few spots left for the Quebec Trip in February.  Please send registration form in to Miriam Przybyla-Baum.
SAT Test Prep    
Sign up your 10th or 11th grade daughter for SAT prep sessions! The first session will be 10/29 then the remainder in January and February. These 2-hour sessions on Saturday mornings will introduce your daughter to test strategies that may help improve her SAT scores.

Upcoming Admissions Open House    
The Admissions Office has already begun thinking about next year! If you know a Stoneleigh-Burnham girl who has not yet found her way to us, we would greatly appreciate your telling her about us. We have an upcoming Open House in November and another one in January. Of course, families are encouraged to come see us any time that's convenient to them.
 
From the Dean's Office:    
Progress reports for those parents who were unable to be with us during Fall Family Weekend were mailed on Monday, October 17th. Please let Sharon Weyers know if you do not receive them in a reasonable period of time.

Our next formal dinner is scheduled for Thursday, October 27th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Special occasion dress is required.
