Smith College Director of Admissions to speak on the Admissions Process |

The next Parents' Association Meeting will be devoted to COLLEGE ADMISSION. On Tuesday, December 13th Deb Shaver, Director of Admissions at Smith College, will attend our meeting to talk with us about the college admission process from the college perspective. Deb is an astute, witty, engaging and experienced professional in the admissions business and will generously offer stories, answer questions, and give us a glimpse behind-the-scenes of the college admissions process. So whether your daughter is in Middle School or scrambling to finish her applications as a twelfth grader, whether she is applying to Smith, Kenyon, Duke, or Western Kentucky State you'll want to attend this meeting to hear one of the country's most respected admissions professionals.
5:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 13th. Refreshments will be served. Calling in on our conference line will be an option for those who can't make it to campus.

SBS Visiting Asia in March 2012 |

Head of School Sally Mixsell and Andrea Patt, International Program Director, will be visiting Asia again in March 2012! They are hoping to visit with all current families and alumnae in or around the cities visited.
Their tentative tour plans are:
· Tokyo ~ March 4 - 6
· Seoul ~ March 7 - 9
· Shanghai ~ March 10 & 11
· Shenzhen ~ March 12 & 13
· Hong Kong ~ March 14
· Taipei ~ March 15 & 16
