Results from Shallowbrook Farm IEA Show

Stoneleigh-Burnham riders competed in an Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) show at Shallowbrook Farm in Somers, Conn. on January 15, 2017. Though the SBS Upper School IEA Team has already qualified for the Regional Finals coming up in February, SBS garnered the points to tie for Champion at Shallowbrook out of a total of 20 teams who competed.

Here are the individual results for the Upper School team:

Open:
Jax Morgan ’19: 6th place over fences
Anna Shuster ’20: 4th on the flat
Khaki Warford ’18: 6th on the flat

Intermediate:
Clem Silvain ’19: 3rd place over fences, 3rd place on the flat
Jada Nimer ’19: 6th place over fences

Novice:
Payton Lawrence: 2nd place over fences, 2nd place on the flat
Anni Richards ’20: 1st place over fences, 6th place on the flat

Beginner:
Isabela Cusano ’19: 1st place
Nina Kauderer ’20: 4th place
Sophie Byrne ’17: 6th place

Through this show, Clem Silvain ’19 has qualified on the flat for the intermediate division (adding to her previously qualified over fences) for Region Finals, Payton Lawrence has qualified on the flat for the novice division (adding to her previously qualified over fences) for Region Finals, and Isabela Cusano ’19 has qualified for the beginner division for Region Finals.

The IEA team has a final show next weekend in which the remainder of the team still needing their fifth show will compete.
