SBS Riders Earn Top Places in Jumping Championship

On Saturday, April 2, the Stoneleigh-Burnham School Equestrian Center held the championship show for its first winter show jumping series, and SBS riders took several top places:

Emma Donald, riding her own Whoa Nellie, was 4th place in the 3’0″ series class

Gwen Healy, riding SBS-owned Cherry, was Reserve Champion of the 2’6″ series

Jada Nimer, riding SBS-owned Tony, was Champion of the 3’0″ series

Melli Peitzker, riding SBS-owned Azuro, was Champion of the 2’6″ series

Maren Vogel, riding her own horse Cruise Control, was Reserve Champion of the 3″6″ series

The series consisted of three regular jumper shows in October, December, and January. It concluded with the championship show. Points were be awarded over the course of the series and the top 15 riders from each series level were invited back to compete at the championship.
