Students participate in video conference with NASA.

Inspiration Lab, a feature of the National Association of Independent Schools, has published an article about Stoneleigh-Burnham’s participation in a videoconference that connected our students with NASA.

The videoconference was held on Stoneleigh-Burnham’s campus and hosted by NASA’s Digital Learning Network at the Kennedy Space Center. Students were able to speak directly with Dr. Lenore Rasmussen, a polymer chemist who is working on synthetic muscle that may one day be used to make prosthetics or a variety of items that are useful both on Earth and in space.
