If you weren't in your current role at SBS, what other opportunities, professionally or personally, would you like to explore?
I'd be on Broadway, which is weird because I can't carry a tune.

What made you want to work at SBS?
I attended an all-girls school for my middle school years and it was important to be at a school where a girl was the best math student, led every team, and held every leadership role.

What is a fun fact about you?
I'm a character in a book, I went to elementary school with Steve Carell, and I used to work for Kevin O'Leary.

What made you want to work at SBS?
It has been wonderfully enlightening to work alongside dedicated, compassionate adults and students. There truly is a community at Stoneleigh-Burnham, and it's amazing to see that warmth and kindness in-person.

What is the most exciting aspect of working at SBS?
Traveling to equestrian events and cheering on our IEA teams! I can't wait to see how everyone grows their skills over the trimesters.

What is your favorite activity to do off-campus?
Animals have always been a focal point of my life, so I spent a lot of my time growing up going out in nature, birdwatching, tidepooling, and exploring around wetlands. I grew up in an area with marshes, beaches, forests, swamps, and meadows, and I am very excited to explore the hiking trails and nature reservations around Stoneleigh-Burnham!

What is a fun fact about you?
While a captain on my IHSA team at Wheaton College MA, I was the designated team parent who brought extra scarves, mittens, blankets, and chairs (and, of course, bought Dunkin Donuts munchkins for everyone to share).

What made you want to work at SBS?
I love being a part of a student’s journey to become the best version of themselves, and SBS supports each student in self-discovery, which is amazing!

What is your favorite spot on campus?
I enjoy the courtyard, especially in the spring when everything is in bloom but you’ll likely find me in my cozy office, my other favorite spot.

What is the most important thing a prospective student should know about SBS?
At Stoneleigh-Burnham you will be surrounded by a community that truly wants to see you succeed and will be cheering you on and helping you every step of the way.

What is the most exciting aspect of working at SBS?
Learning from our amazing community! The students, faculty, staff (and even pets!) have such unique experiences, many talents, and interesting stories to tell, and I’m always learning something new. I love being able to share these moments with families who are exploring SBS.

What is your favorite tradition at SBS?
The Victory Bell! It’s a big, old bell that sits in the middle of the courtyard, and when one of our teams wins a game or match, they all ring the bell together. The bell is right next to my office, and I love to watch the team celebrate… loudly!

What was your favorite subject in high school?
English and Drama. If I wasn’t reading a book for a class, I was memorizing lines for a show.
